Vista Verde is a LIHTC housing project in Breckenridge, CO that offers 80 affordable housing units, ranging from one to three bedrooms. The project includes a total of three (3) two-story walk-up apartment buildings with interior corridors. On-site amenities include a leasing office, fitness areas, laundry room, a community room with kitchen, and electric charging stations.
Given and Associates provided the HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical design for the project, which included a split system all electric heat pump the HVAC design. The project includes efficient building design that employs best practices from Zero Energy Ready Homes, passive house strategies, and Enterprise Green Communities. The Vista Verde community received ULI Colorado's 2023 Impact Award for Innovation.
