Sun Valley Gateway is a mixed-use, mixed-income development partnership of the Sun Valley Ecodistrict and the Denver Housing Authority in Colorado. This project won a Downtown Denver Award for its sustaining contribution to Denver in 2021.
Built on a 3.8 acre site, Gateway North houses 104 units in a 148,337 SF, seven-story building, with an additional 2,700 SF of office/commercial space. Gateway South is comprised of 93 units in a 118,292 SF, seven-story building, with 3.400 SF of amenity space and 3,000 SF of retail space for a fresh food market.
Gateway North and South are designed to Enterprise Green Community standards and feature environmentally-friendly and healthy interior materials, an extensive PV solar array, and green roofs. Outdoor circulation lowers both energy costs as well as building costs, allowing more resources to be allocated to the unit interiors, the homes of the residents.
Included in Given’s Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing designs are high-efficiency water heaters, and Aquatherm fan coil units.
