Given provided the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing design for Walden35, a multi-family project of the Housing Authority of the City of Aurora (AHA). AHA has utilized the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program to serve households earning between 30% and 70% of the area median income.
Walden35 is an all-electric, transit-adjacent community in Aurora’s Gateway Park with 100 affordable one, two and three-bedroom residential units in one (1), four-story building. On-site amenities include a fitness room, a community room, a computer lab, an outdoor play area, a gated dog run, bicycle storage, package lockers, and in-unit washers and dryers. Our design included Vertical Terminal Heat Pumps (VTHP) and electric water heaters in each unit.
