Zia Sunnyside is an eight-story multifamily housing building comprised of 108 high-rise residential condominiums and 303 residential apartments. Included in the design was approximately 20,000 SF of shell retail and restaurant, along with 40,000 SF of amenity space, built above a 133,000 SF of ventilated parking garage. The building is designed for LEED Standards.
Our scope of services included Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing design for this highly visible project located in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Denver, CO. The project incorporated provisions for commercial kitchens, swimming pools, and fitness facilities.
Our design included an affordable and green Integrated System (which employs the domestic hot and cold water to provide space heating and cooling), and high-efficiency water heaters. Further sustainable design features included a 125 KW solar photovoltaic array, and 18 Level 2 EV chargers.
