Jeff began his career with Given and Associates in 1993 and became a licensed Professional Engineer in 1998.  After joining Given and Associates, he implemented a strategy of utilizing technology to produce design documents more efficiently and effectively. Jeff took the role of Managing Principal in 2007, and has remained committed to utilizing the latest design technologies such as REVIT and AutoDesk MEP to produce the most efficient, quality construction documents possible.

Jeff earned both his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Aerospace Engineering. His studies surrounded the idea of using nuclear thermal propulsion rockets to power a future manned-mission to Mars. Although Jeff was offered a spot in the PhD program with a full scholarship, he turned it down to pursue a career at Given and Associates. Jeff enjoys many activities that Colorado has to offer, including hiking, skiing, golfing, and other adventures with his teenaged kids.

Responsibilities

As President and Managing Principal, Jeff is responsible for the overall fiscal health of Given and Associates. Through his leadership, the firm has grown exponentially, and has established an infrastructure of talent essential to delivering the highest level of service. Jeff is furthermore responsible for many of the close, lasting client relationships built by Given and Associates.

Experience

Jeff provides over 25 years of focused Mechanical Design experience in a vast array of sectors, including Assisted Living, Community, Education, Government, Multi-Family, Residential, Low-Income Housing, Office, Medical, Retail and Sustainable Design. Jeff keeps a strong focus on customer service, with an eye towards energy-efficient and economical designs.
