Trevor’s career started in 1989 as a Mechanical Design Engineer in London, England, where he received his degree after a six-year apprenticeship. He then relocated to San Jose, CA in 1995 to work in the Silicon Valley Hi-Tech industry, followed by San Diego to practice with a specialized health care consultant dealing with the California OSHPD requirements.
In 2000, Trevor migrated to the East Coast where he worked with some of New York’s finest MEP consulting firms, with a focus on high-level Data Center and Pharmaceutical projects. Trevor moved to Colorado in 2006, having found the ideal opportunity to develop his project management skills at Given and Associates. He became Associate Principal in 2014, and Principal in 2019.
Trevor is a keen musician that plays both guitar and bass for a local Colorado band. He enjoys running to keep fit, and loves to travel between the US, Europe and Asia. Trevor is also studying the Japanese language.
Responsibilities
As a Principal and Lead Mechanical Engineer, Trevor’s primary responsibilities include client cultivation and relationship development; MEP proposal and project oversite; along with staff development, training, growth, and retention. Trevor is committed to serving the needs of our clients through his attentiveness and dedication to seeing every project through to exemplary completion.
Experience
Trevor contributes over 30 years of Mechanical Design experience. His early work provided valuable expertise in clean-room, biotech, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and data center projects. Trevor has developed a wealth of experience in Multi-Family, Residential, High-Rise, Affordable Housing, Assisted Living, Medical, Office, Retail, Government, Education, and Sustainable Design. Trevor has been a driving force in the Low-Income, Multi-Family housing market, working projects with the Denver Housing Authority, West Metro Housing, Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, and Mercy Housing, to name just a few.
